Soliciting is an on-going performance and, literal, pop-up shop. Pop-up spaces have become an industry and are becoming less and less affordable. With no space left, Soliciting takes art on the road and the sidewalk. I found inspiration in the old idea of the door to door salesmen with their wares in their suitcase. The sculpture was custom build to be ready to fold down and take it on the subway. 

Some of the art-wares include art books, prints, hand made buttons (one that includes the artist’s hair), postcards, and stickers. On this page, I will be documenting all the stops with my suitcase.
